Post : Library Assistant Salary: £19,221-£20,747 p.a. (incl. LWA) (Under Review) Closing date: 26th October 2007 Interview date: 9th November 2007 The Jerwood Library of the Performing Arts, which supports teaching, learning, performance and research at Trinity College of Music, seeks to appoint a full-time Library Assistant to assist as part of a small team with the day-to-day running of core services, including staffing the issue desk and carrying out processing and repair work on stock. The post holder will also be required to provide help and advice to students to enable them to make best use of the Library facilities. You will be a graduate with an excellent general knowledge of music (a degree in music is desirable), have the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative, be IT-literate, customer-focussed, a good team player and demonstrate a meticulous approach to detail. Experience of working in a library or similar environment would be advantageous.
