Dear All,

The attached document below landed in my in-box courtesy of  one of the DCC mineral planners. Has anyone else heard of it? and exactly who might be adopting it? Is it sanctioned by ALGAO? I presume it is an outcome from an ALSF project in Northumberland...We are investigating the ALGAO side, but further information would be useful so that I know how to respond to our planners.

Regards
Lee White

Archaeology - Good Practice Guide

Dear All

We were working on the basis that this had been agreed - however looking
back at John's note there is a timetable to adoption that runs into next
year - so we can add something via DC PAG.  I suggest that each member of
the group seeks advice and reports back so that we can forward on comments.

The timetable is:

Friday 30th November - feedback on GPG.

Friday 14th December The finalised GPG to be circulated for adoption.

Thursday 17th January Meeting of the Archaeology Working Group to
adopt the GPG.

Wednesday 16th April Possible launch date for the GPG at Westminster.

Barry - please note the above and I attach the most up to date copy of the
Guidance that we considered at our meeting last week
