I think Russ's point was that since you need to transfer one set of data
to make them comparable, it would make more sense to transform the
functional results from T&T space to MNI, rather than vice
versa. The two papers he cited explain in detail why using T&T
space is a bad idea.

The only reason is the other data in this project are all in
Talairach space. I need compare VBM data to other
data.
