Dear Don,

I am very happy that you are interested in the results. I am writing up everything next month and will certainly send you the first decent draft.

Thank you for the suggestion to contact Rebecca McGovern. This is exactly the kind of help that I need right now.

Mathias

Dear members of the Embodiment list,

I request your help in finding English speaking participants for my online survey on body-oriented activities in psychotherapy.

Since 2003, I have been working with Mia Leijssen (University of Leuven, Belgium) and Robert Elliott (University of Strathclyde, Schotland) on a dissertation about body-oriented activities in psychotherapy. Basically, I am trying to develop an integrative "entrance" into the manifold of body-oriented therapeutic practices through a simple but embodied perspective on psychotherapy in general.

The survey involves a very brief questionnaire (25 items) about various body-oriented activities, performed (or not) in a therapist's most recent session. I have already used this questionnaire in a clinical study, but I need a large sample of practitioners to complete this particular questionnaire, to gain more insight in its structure.

Note that the practitioners for my survey do not have to work body-centered.

Maybe you can participate yourself, or maybe you know someone who could participate?

It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire online: http://psy.body.sgizmo.com   <http://psy.body.sgizmo.com/>

I hope that you find the time to help me out,

Thank you very much,
