I remembered , rather belatedly that, that some of us, rallied through the network, had a letter on this topic published in The Guardian, when the Layard enthusiasm first began; I can't lay my hands on it - did anyone else keep it? I liked the title,/ labels collective compromise - thanks for that idea Paul; useful to remember it. I have tried to point the finger at the theory, not the person, and have made a small number of other minor changes. In keeping with the general feeling about titles/statuses etc, I have adopted the policy of providing a description of members of the network - after all if a list of names is published (and it being long I have my doubts) folk who need to know can just google us! Hope everyone is ok with it. I'll send to the Independent, Times, Guardian, Observer, Daily Worker - but of course all please feel free to circulate around other networks and send to other media outlets.
