This is a full time post in an expanding Centre for Health Sciences. Researchers are a multidisciplinary team from a wide range of backgrounds including general practice, medical ethics, nursing, statistics, public health, sociology, and psychology. The overall mission of the Centre is to define, and to support the delivery of, best practice in community based health care which involves health services research, providing community based education for undergraduates, and multi-professional postgraduate training and development. This post is based in the general practice and primary care research unit of the Centre, and is primarily a research post with some teaching.
