Dear all
It has been pointed out to me that this comment is of course an inappropriate question, sorry for any offence caused it was merely rhetorical and a little knee jerk, I will get back under my desk now and try not to be so reactionary in future communications.
Apologies Jenny.

Should we make an assumption about your sexuality from your post Jenny?;)

I hope you are being ironic, Dipen.  But in my view the thing to be just now is lesbian, gay or bisexual.  Not only have this group gained a place in the new commission (and a commissioner) but they have Stonewall which has campaigned more effectively than any body I can imagine.  I know there is still a lot to achieve; I know there's the bishop of Hereford; (and a dreadful hint in today's Higher, p 4, that the Council of Church Colleges and Universities would like to see a GOR in respect of sexual orientation for chancellors and principals ('but care should be taken') (!!!).

Does this mean that if you are either Black, gay, transgender, older, younger, have religious beliefs, male or female, from N. Ireland or disabled any where apart from England you will not get any help

white, heterosexual, middle-aged, preferable Christian, English males need only apply!!

Kind regards,

Dipen
