I don't think we have had to use any scans in a court case yet although they may have been excepted in an industrial tribunal (not sure). I find it interesting that we all seem to have problems with authenticity and scanned documents, yet have no problem with printed electronic documents. Both have changed formats and both could be subject to alteration.
