Tina As I understand it accreditation is self-awarded - your evidence of good practice should be maintained to show you are capturing images appropriately. Your completed Tool-kit should stand you in good stead when and if Legal Admissibility is challenged. Your decision to destroy the originals is, as ever, a risk based one. If your team are scanning bus tickets you are probably safe - if adoption records you might be more circumspect over (despite the ESCR imperative). Costs (including social ones) and benefits should be weighted and weighed for some guidance.
