Hi All, We're currently in the final stages of populating our new record storage areas. We are now looking at making the areas more accessable for the staff who will be accessing it. I'd be interested if anyone could recommend suppliers of mobile steps, especially interested in those which have additional safeguards for persons retreiving boxes from the top shelves. Somebody mentioned such mobile steps exist with motorised lifts on the side to raise and lower the box? or was they puuling my leg?? Secondly we are looking for a suppier of manual handling & risk assessment training, specialising in archival storage areas. I did my training as part of the Hertlands NHS Trust initiative, but I think this has now ceased? Any responses would be great!
