Dear all INGENIOUS 2007 - 2nd round announcement and Event Ingenious - engaging citizens; engaging engineers is the Royal Academy of Engineering's public engagement grants scheme. The aim is to provide funding for projects that enable engineers to enhance their public engagement skills, consider the societal implications of their work and take part in debate with the public on engineering and its impact on society. The next application deadline for the second round of Ingenious is 30 November 2007 (for further details: http://www.raeng.org.uk/engagement). The Ingenious 2007 event will take place on 24 October 2007 at the Academy's new location - Carlton House Terrace (London). This event is open to all potential applicants, current Ingenious awardees and those interested in public engagement with science, technology and engineering.
