RE: HSBC Gap Year Scholarship to China – important information

Dear all,

The HSBC Gap Year Scholars' programme which began in 2006 enables five individuals to spend a gap year in China and was initially agreed as a 2 year pilot.  Five students have recently returned after a successful year in Shanghai and five further students have just left the UK for their experience of a lifetime in Shanghai. Currently, there is no intention for HSBC to continue supporting this scheme and notice of this will be made available on the British Council website.
