University College London (UCL) Library Services has advertised the position of Cataloguer: - JOB TITLE: Cataloguer. - LOCATION: UCL Science Library, Gower Street Campus, London. - SALARY: £26,666 - £32,796 plus £2,572 London Weighting (Grade 7). - HOURS: Full time (36.5 hours per week with flexitime). - PERIOD OF APPOINTMENT: Permanent. - GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POST: The postholder will contribute to the work of the Current Cataloguing Team within the Cataloguing Operations Section. This entails producing high quality bibliographic records (either in derived or original form) for works in English, modern European, Semitic, and classical languages, according to recognised international standards (AACR2, MARC21, LCSH, and MeSH) on the Aleph library management system. - CLOSING DATE: 5 October 2007.
