The Scottish Museums Council run a series of one day courses.  Rates are 
subsidised for SMC member museums and their volunteers.  These courses are 
run to cover costs only.

Developing & evaluating online learning resources

This course will provide practical training on developing e-learning 
resources aimed principally at people planning or just beginning to 
incorporate e-learning programmes into their organisation’s work.  It will 
include interactive sessions and hands on activities.  You will have the 
opportunity to explore different methods, different audiences and how they 
use online resources. You will be able to examine the use of online 
collections and learn how to evaluate learning resources.  It will also 
provide you with basic information on developing websites, as well as an 
opportunity to discuss your current or future projects and to examine 
barriers to development of online learning resources.

Cost:£35 for SMC member museums’ volunteers
£70 for SMC / ASVA members,  
£90 for non-members
