We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning Assistant to help deliver and
develop our education and access programme. The Learning Assistant will
be working on many aspects of education in the Grant Museum. This post
will provide a key role in the Museum’s widening participation and
audience development strategy. The Learning Assistant will deliver and
assist in the development of the formal education programme and special
events, working closely with school groups and families, as well as FE
and HE institutions and special interest groups.
This post is part time 40% full time equivalent: two days per week. The
contract for this post is for one year, with possibility of extension.
Salary will be pro rata based on UCL Grade 5, spine point 15: £20,223 per
annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
Applicants should hold a relevant degree (e.g. zoology/biology) and/or
experience of working in natural history. Experience of delivering
educational workshops and events for primary, secondary, tertiary or
lifelong learners is essential.
