Dear colleagues RNIB South West are again running our day-course entitled Transcription - Using a PC to provide blind and partially sighted people with accessible information. Course description An intermediate level course aimed at people with sight problems or those who work with people with sight problems. It is open to professionals and private individuals of all ages. It will be of particular interest to people working in employment, education, and community settings. This course will provide the opportunity to learn and practise the basic methods by which inaccessible information can be transcribed, using a personal computer, into formats that are accessible to blind and partially sighted people.
