Thunder is
a good quality free screenreader:
There are
loads and loads of free text to speech thingys, the one I like the most
is Readplease 2003
These are
both basic packages with the possibility of upgrading to the 'full' versions.
However as their free they won't suddenly lock you out after 30 days, like
shareware.
