Hi Peter, it's worth noting that during upgrades/installs the installer spring cleans the filesystem, or to put it another way, takes everything that it doesn't like the look of and puts it in a backup directory, it may well be that if this was previously achieved using a customised file, that it hid this away in the backup. The installer really isn't too fussy, it always removes our Snapshot Controller, which is a Blackboard product obviously... Previously we had the system configured so that users could not change their password within blackboard but were directed to use our central IT self service toolkit. Unfortunately it seems to have gone back to the default and I cant find the right place set it up again, can anyone point me in the right direction before the users start getting out of sync!
