I have a client who is looking for images of St Albans (town and surroundings0 to include in a history he is writing? He is looking to get away from the well-known images from the Matthew Paris MSS/St Albans Psalter etc. So far I'm not having much success. Does anyone know of any other images that might make good illustrations. he is particularly interested in early maps (not Speed).
