Tübingen Prize for Early Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology Research
The Department of Early Prehistory and Quaternary Ecology of the
Institute for Pre- and Protohistory and Archaeology of the Middle Ages
at the Eberhard-Karls-University Tübingen is pleased to announce the
tenth award of the Tübingen prize. The prize is sponsored by
ratiopharm, Ulm, through a donation of 5,000 ?. The purpose of this
prize is to foster innovative research among young scholars studying
Paleolithic archaeology, Quaternary ecology and human evolution.
Submissions may include master's and doctoral theses, published
monographs or similar academic publications. Closing date for all
submissions is
November 1, 2007.
The prize will be awarded in February 2008 in Tübingen.
Prix de Tübingen pour la Recherche Préhistoire Ancienne et Ecologie du
Quaternaire
L'institut de pré- et protohistoire, section préhistoire ancienne et
écologie du quaternaire de l'Eberhard-Karls-Université Tübingen met au
concours pour la dixième fois le Prix de Tübingen doté de 5.000 ? et
financé par la société de ratiopharm, Ulm. L'objectif de ce prix est
de favoriser une recherche innovante parmi des jeunes chercheurs
travaillant en particulier sur l'archéologie des périodes glaciaires,
l'écologie quaternaire et l'évolution de l'homme préhistorique. Il est
possible de postuler parti de monographies, d'ouvrages ou de travaux
universitaires. La date de clôture de depôt des dossiers est fixée au
