I am looking for a
laboratory that measures Lactoferrin levels - nothing on
Assayfinder.
One of
Haematologists has a 31 year old female with a history of tiredness and low
ferritin levels. Her Hb is normal and she has some platelet clumping. Of
significance, the vast majority of her Polymorphs are bi-lobed. He informs me
that this is consistent with two conditions:
1. Pelger-Huet
syndrome
2. Lactoferrin
deficiency
Hence the request
for Lactoferrin. Can anyone help please?
Many
thanks
