Free places available for SLIC/CILIPS Service Innovation Showcase 11th September 2007 A heads up for the library and information community, the SLIC/CILIPS Service Innovation Showcase is a chance to learn about innovative transferable initiatives from across the sectors. This year the showcase is being held at the Bridge in Easterhouse from 10am until 3pm and will feature a range of cross sectoral projects from working with new technologies in education including Second Life and entertainment technologies, e-portfolios for personal professional development in the NHS, to highlights from the Scottish Executive funded public library improvement initiative. Two delegate places per member organisation are offered FREE as a membership benefit to SLIC members. Extra delegate places and non-member delegate places are £60. If you’d like to attend you should register in advance as places are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis.
