The DSE policy at our main contract states that if employees requires glasses for intermediate vision they will pay the cost of basis intermediate lenses and frames at a cost of £32.00, or that this can be used as payment of the intermediate distance part of a vari / bifocal prescription lens. The employee pays and then reclaims the £32.00 when they provide evidence of need for intermediate lenses ie a copy of their prescription Hope this helps ======================================== Message Received: Aug 05 2007, 07:31 PM From: "Carol McLeod" To: [log in to unmask] Cc: Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Contribution to the cost of spectacles for DSE work only Hello to everyone Does anyone have DSE Users who require glasses specifically for DSE use?
