medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The Society for the study of the Bible in the Middle Ages invites papers on
“apocalyptic traditions in medieval Bible exegesis”, for Kalamazoo
2008.

We are looking not only for papers discussing specifically apocalyptic books
(Revelation, Daniel, the Minor Prophets, Matthew, but also apocryphal works
such as but also IV Ezra), but also for papers addressing apocalyptic
traditions such as the Joachite heritage.
Please contact the society’s president, Jane Beal ([log in to unmask]),
dircetly with a prioposal of 500 words, or contact the session chair, Frans van
Liere ([log in to unmask]) if you want to discuss a proposal or have any
questions on the concept of this session.
