PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
3 October 2007, London

Often staff are out of touch with the aims and objectives of their organisations and even though they might be running what they deem to be effective services many staff fail to be motivated. There is often a mismatch between delivery of local services and the organisational goals. This one-day course will examine the relationship between organisational and individual goals, staff development and motivational values and TECHNIQUES.

BY THE END OF THE EVENT PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
· identified different motivations in the workplace
· learned how to engage with employees
· examined different styles of leadership
· explored different delegation techniques
· looked at ways to translate organisation strategies into specific work-plans
· learned how to support staff when implementing change

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Middle to senior managers in any sector who want to get the best performance from their staff.

SPECIAL NOTE
This is not a course on managing negative performance. Please look for details of our Positive Approaches to Negative Performance course.
