The ideal filing system allows you to tag items with keywords - so that you don't have to remember where you chose to put something on that particular day. eg an article in the NEJM about catching scrofula from the landlord of the Kings Head during an 'encounter' with him in the public toilets - could be tagged with NEJM, 2007, scrofula, toilets, sexually transmitted, etc - so when you are looking for something on scrofula in the future, you find it, or something on sexual transmission, you find it etc Delicious does this on the net of course. -- Jel
