GIS Research Specialist - London - Permanent - £35-£40k One of Generic's prestigious clients is seeking a GIS Research Specialist. This is a key high profile role for the company and we are looking for candidates to interview ASAP. For the role you will have a number of core responsibilities including; Strategic GIS planning, GIS Application Development - developing desktop and web applications - .Net and VBA, provide expert advice and information on GIS, acquisition of data and creation of new themes. In addition to the core of the role you will also be responsible for; Production of drive time analysis, threshold analysis, geodata modelling, forecasting and data management; Maintain assistance with client presentations both written and visual. For this role we need 3 years commercial experience in GIS, high level expertise in the ArcGIS suite, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, GIS Educational background, good database skills - Access and SQL, Knowledge of Insight 7.0 would also be an advantage.
