An open forum on the future of the UK's screen heritage has been organised
by MeCCSA and Roehampton University. The one-day symposium on Saturday 22
September is free, and will 'provide an opportunity for stakeholders to
discuss what needs to be done to ensure the long-term future of our moving
image and screen heritage'. The programme will cover issues such as
'archiving policy and selection, intellectual property and copyright,
documentation collection, accessibility and institutional models'. Speakers
include BFI Director Amanda Nevill, Adam Lee from the BBC and Murray Weston
of the British Universities Film and Video Council.
