This introductory guide gives an overview of ESDS data resources for the analysis of change over time. Its content in part represents the outcome of a one-day seminar held in October 2006 at the Cathie Marsh Centre for Census and Survey Research (CCSR). The aim of the guide is to introduce the reader to some of the methodological, technical and data management issues surrounding the analysis of change. ------------------------------------ The ESDS Government guide 'Analysis of the LFS using STATA' has been updated and can be found at http://www.esds.ac.uk/government/resources/analysis/.
