Dear All,

I have just received this from another list I am on. Surely, 'embedding
Disability' is the very last thing we want to be doing isn't it!? Does
anyone know anything about this event?

I guess equally to the point, does anyone organising this event realise what
a major mistake the title of this event is I wonder? At least, I must
assume it is a mistake. Fancy wanting to embed disability. We'll be told
that we need to institutionalise discrimination next - oh hang on ... Hmmm.
Still, "genuine" though this "mistake" may be, it is revealing for all that
I would say.

Best wishes,
Mike Higgins

opportunities, a short film giving the personal accounts of disabled
students, followed by guidance on interpreting legislation relating to
competence standards.

Who should attend?
