Stick with co-ordinator, it is the safest option. In my experience very few of those involved in disability work in HE can actually manage anything. Here at York St John University we are currently trying to better define what the role of a Disability 'Officer' is as opposed to a disability 'co-ordinator' or 'manager'. Is anyone, from their own experience, able to define for me the difference between the roles? Alternatively, if you have the title of 'Officer' I would be most grateful to receive a copy of your job description (off line if preferred) if you are happy to forward to me.
