Hi All,

Recently I sent out an email about arranging a meeting that we would
like to UCU and UNISON members to feed into the commission for disabled
staff. We received feedback that members in UCU would like the meeting
to be on Thursday October 11th as the UCU disabled members conference is
on Friday October 12th. This seems common sense so the Union meeting for
the commission for disabled staff will now happen on Thursday October
11th.The meeting is part of the Commission's call for evidence about
disabled staff in the lifelong learning sector. Travel will be paid for.
This is a real opportunity for you to influence the work of the
commission.

The meeting is happening at UCU, Britannia Street 11am till 3pm on
THURSDAY OCTOBER 11TH

If you would like to know more or are interested in attending the
meeting please get in touch with Sian Davies UCU/UNISON Disability
Equality Organiser by emailing [log in to unmask]

If you could pass this email onto anyone you think would be interested
please do so.

Thanks
Sian
