The Wall Street Journal Asia's Asian Innovation Awards 2007 is fast approaching and we would like to take this opportunity to invite students from QUT to submit entry and join in for this prestigious event. Nominations are open to individuals or companies who conceptualized their invention in Asia and it is free to nominate (no fee is required). These annual awards are Asia's premier honor for individuals and companies who come up with new ideas, methods or technologies, or apply existing knowledge in creative, new ways to improve quality of life or productivity. In addition to the Asian Innovation Awards, the GES Award also will be presented, in association with the Singapore Economic Development Board. The GES Award honors Asia's emerging Technopreneur of the Year. Entries will be judged on innovation, technology and the commercial potential of their proposals. The Wall Street Journal Asia will feature the top entries for both Awards on November 7, with publication of the winners one week later on November 14. This year's winners will be honored in Singapore and will receive world-wide recognition and publicity. Enclosed please find a copy of the press release for your reference.
