You would have to remove the course or disable the course in the
database. 

 

e.g. make the ROW_STATUS = 2 in the bb_bb60 database COURSE_MAIN table. 

 

This way you can have disabled courses, which students and instructors
won't be able to see, but you as a system admin should be able to see
them. 

 

The only issue with this you would need to then make the course
unavailable again if the instructor wants to grab their course material
off the old course.
