As far as the Scots are concerned Durham is kind of 'central'. From Dundee, by car, it's about 4.5 hours to Durham and 8 - 9 hours to London. Durham's fine. The vast majority (over 80%) wanted to come back to Durham, many saying that it wouldn't be the same anywhere else. As such we decided to carry on hosting this event. That's not to say that other UK users can't arrange events (as I know you've done). There is also the official Blackboard Europe event which will be in the UK this year. Add to that all the regional events, and the Uk Content System users events and I think people have a pretty good selection in the UK.
