Full time, 37 hrs per week                                        £27,466 - £30,913 per annum

The successful candidate will coordinate, develop and drive the College’s recruitment of students from UK and International sources. As corporate ambassador, the role holder will arrange and carry out visits to countries in the college’s target markets in order to implement the marketing plans for those markets: to include exhibitions, visits, presentations, as well as arranged itineraries, promotional material and follow up activity.

 

The role holder will regularly liaise with overseas agents and partners in order to optimise recruitment opportunities as well as work closely with the College’s academic departments to enhance their understanding of the specific learning needs of students transferring from these overseas systems in order to make the students’ time at Writtle College as pleasantly memorable as possible.

 

The ideal candidate will have had direct experience of international student recruitment and transferable experience within the Higher Education sphere, excellent organisational and communication skills (both oral and written), the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, experience and understanding of cultural differences, high levels of personal commitment and the motivation to cope with frequent overseas travel. A second language would be an advantage however is not essential for this role.
