OUT OF HOURS RESULTS

The RCPath and RCGP are about to publish a joint guideline "Out of hours reporting of markedly abnormal laboratory test results to Primary care- advice for Pathologists and those that work in Laboratory Medicine".

It is based on Graham Beastall's original document from 2005 !!  It has input from the SACs and Lay Advisory Committee for RCPath , as well as RCGP.

I am just waiting for RCGP council to endorse it in September
