Dear Lesley

There may be others from me as well as otehrs from others in due course, but a couple of points do spring fairly rapidly to mind:

1. I don't remember what conference NF had been identified as a keynote speaker at, so it's hard to speculate about how well Lavagetto might fit in; what conference is it? the network's grand finale in early 2008 or something else? and in either case what else is planned?

2.  material such as interviews I've seen lately suggests Lavagetto has a degree of reluctance, despite and in part because of his high profile publications on Freud and literature, to be cast as an oracle in matters of lit-and-psychoanalysis in general;  my guess is he'd be most likely to respond favourably to an invitation of a fairly specific kind, fairly carefully formulated to address his interests;

3.  depending on the answer to 1  above, of course, I suppose it may be relatively easy or difficult to come up with alternative suggestions;

all best - hope you are having a good summer

	Dear All,
	 Nadia Fusini has had to withdraw as our keynote speaker for conference.
	 What do you all think about asking Lavagetto?
