This was done at the Yarnbury smithy, on the Grassington Mines.  In that 
case, the National Park stipulated that the windows be of smoked (brown) 
glass and that the windows be set well back in the openings.  The effect is 
not perfect, but from a distance it looks more like a dark hole than a 
window.

The general layout detail of the building was respected (except the 
repointing was maybe a bit enthusiastic).
