Due to unforeseen circumstances, some film seminar teaching is available for 2007-8 on a Level 2 European cinema module run by Birmingham's Centre for European Languages and Cultures. Lectures on the module are given by staff in the Centre (= the Departments of French, Hispanic Studies, German and Italian) weekly, and are backed up by fortnightly seminars to 3 or 4 groups of students (up to 50), meaning that c.16 hours of teaching in each semester is available, to be remunerated at normal postgraduate or post-doctoral rates. Some marking duties will be involved.

This teaching would suit a postgraduate student or inactive lecturer in film studies living in or around the West Midlands. (Teaching could be arranged to take place on one day per fortnight.) If you are interested please contact me directly, not via the list.
