We warmly invite applications from current Health Libraries Group
members for the Autumn HLG Bursary.
The bursary is given to enhance the knowledge and development of the
profession and to further continuing professional development, and will support
attendance at training events such as study days or conferences. A total
of £500 is available which may be divided between one or more successful
applicants.
Bursaries will be awarded to members who have either no other source of
funding or cannot raise the full amount, and who have not previously been
awarded a free place by HLG. Applicants must give details of funding
applications from other sources, whether successful or not.
A condition of being awarded funding is that a meeting report
conforming to the guidelines on the HLG website is produced.
If you would like to apply for this bursary there is no application
form, but please submit:
1) a letter of application including
why you want to attend this particular event/conference and how you plan to use
your new knowledge and skills
2) a brief CV
