The Water & Power Business Group is currently seeking an Urban Visualisation Analyst to the Geomatics team in one of our UK offices. ? The principal duty of this role is the coordination of the production of 3D urban visualisation projects within Geomatics and GIS skill group. Use of spatial data to produce 3D urban visualisations. Assist in the preparation of tenders involving 3D urban visualisation. Provide a link between 3D visualisation, terrestrial laser scanning and GIS. Promotion of 3D visualisation for web-delivery. ? The Successful candidate must have a degree or HND in a relevant subject. A post graduate qualification would be considered desirable. ? The successful candidate must have experience of a combination of the following software packages: 3D Studio Max, Sketchup, ArcGIS, ERDAS Imagine, Navisworks Jetstream, Photoshop, AutoCAD Map 3D. Excellent understanding of a wide range of spatial datasets. Management of work packages from start to finish, knowledge of urban planning and redevelopment and project experience in these areas. Knowledge of web delivery of 3d vis media, and knowledge of video editing and production, would be preferred. ? The successful candidate must have good communications skills, written and oral, and have a keen eye for detail and adherence to specifications. ?
