We
seek a museum educator, with a passion for using objects to teach nursery,
primary and secondary pupils and lead teacher INSET. You will have the ability
to create engaging support materials for school groups and a proven track
record of classroom or museum teaching experience to children between the ages
of 4 to 16. An in-depth knowledge of the National Curriculum across key stages
1-3 and previous experience of using objects to support learning for diverse
age groups are essential. A standard CRB security check is a requirement for
this post.

We
are looking for a highly organised individual to assist with the smooth running
of the Schools Education Service by providing accurate practical and
administrative support including managing booking systems, meeting visiting
groups, preparing classrooms and facilities, maintaining information and
collating data.
Essential
to this post is the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse school
audience as well as the flexibility to deal with competing demands on a daily
basis. A sound knowledge of Windows based packages is required as well as a
standard CRB security check.
