Thanks Steve,

I am afraid that this will be a RAM problem, though I didn't notice 
anything with another application. The amount of RAM, disk space or SWAP 
shouldn't be the problem, because this machine has far more of this 
compared to the working one. However, I'll check the RAM for errors.
