Dear All,

Our latest update on EU developments includes:

- two ‘scoreboards’ - one on the Hague Programme, covering progress in the area of freedom, security and justice; the other on the Internal Market - which shows that an average 1.6% of relevant Directives have not been implemented by Member States, and that many of those which have are applied incorrectly

- a ‘Joint declaration on practical arrangements for the codecision procedure’, issued by the Parliament, Council and Commission commits them to examining their working methods to increase the effectiveness of the codecision procedure

- Daphne, the EU initiative to combat violence against children, young people and women, has been extended until 2013

- the Green Paper on climate change, which “examines climate change impacts in Europe, the case for action and policy responses in the EU”

Plus, guides to finding and tracking draft EU legislation, using EUR-Lex, Pre-Lex and OEIL are now available.
