Less news this week, as the EU starts to wind down for the Summer break. 
 
Summer?  In the UK we've had nothing but rain, so there might be a few raised eyebrows at the Commission's proposal to save water by introducing water pricing in all Member States by 2010.
 
If it's too wet to go out, we can all stay in and watch mobile TV - which Member States have just been urged to make more widely available.
 
But will it be cheap enough? On average, women in the EU earn 15% less than men. ‘Tackling the pay gap between women and men’ (COM (2007) 424) identifies four areas for action ...
