Society of Archivists Eastern Region Meeting Saturday 14th July 2007 at the Museum of Harlow, Muskham Road, Harlow, Essex, CM20 2LF, 01279 454959 The Museum tells the story of Harlow through Roman, Saxon, Georgian and Victorian times to the development of Harlow New Town. The fascinating displays of objects and memorabilia are housed in five galleries within the 19th Century Stable Block of Mark Hall Manor, which is set in attractive gardens. The Museum is an ideal place to bring children or students to learn about local history or life in the past, as they can discover Harlow's history by seeing and touching objects, and trying on costumes.
