medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Can anyone recommend any studies of Third Orders or confraternities linked to religious orders in the Middle Ages? I'd be particularly interested to know of any editions of their rules or constitutions, especially those associated with friars in England. I know the Early English Text Society published a Franciscan Third Order Rule.
