medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Is that 11.45 local (winter) time? :)

It's all a matter of perspective & definition. You need some conception of what is essential for Antiquity or for the Middle Ages before you can place any borders. And next to that; are you talking about art, literature, architecture, economic structure, religious ideas? And about England, the Low Countries or Italy?

Constructions like 'Middle Ages', 'Antiquity', 'Renaissance', 'Early Modern' etc might be useful for educational practices at a beginner's level, and nearly every answer to the question when they begin or end is possible and defensible, but / because in the end there were no beginnings or endings - answering V. Kerry Inman's is rather constructing than reconstructing the past, and (of course) every construction can be discussed.

No idea re: V. Kerry Inman's second question, but very interested in yours!!

-Gerard.
