medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Very curious. I did a search at www.usps.com and came up with "Publication 51 - International Postal Rates and Fees" dated May 14, 2007 and linking to a Table 6 for tariff rates and to a short comment on customs forms. http://pe.usps.gov/text/pub51/welcome.htm Now, just because this is after the rate change and shown on the web, the post office may say "Oops, that was supposed to be deleted and someone forgot." But you might ask a friendly postmaster to find the PO's official copy of Publication 51 & see what happens. Either way, there is a pretty clear sense of their not wanting to deal with those any more (perhaps because the more expensive methods net them more money?). -- Juris G.
